PHOTOCOPYING
GUIDELINES AT THE EVERGREEN
STATE COLLEGE LIBRARY
The
copyright law of the
United States (Title
17, U.S. Code) governs
the making of reproductions
of copyrighted material.
Individuals using photocopiers
or computers in the
Evergreen State College
Library are responsible
for any infringement.
For more information,

The
American Library Association
published, Model Policy
Concerning College and
University Photocopying
for Classroom, Research
and Library Reserve
Use. In general,
the Model Policy with
respect to classroom
use suggests that these
standard guidelines
be
followed:
1.The distribution of
the same photocopied
material does not occur
every quarter without
permission.
2.Only one copy is distributed
for each student.
3.The material includes
a copyright notice on
the first page of the
portion of material
photocopied.
4.The students are not
assessed any fee beyond
the actual cost of the
photocopying.
