Friends of the Evergreen Library is a non-profit community organization that supports the work and life of the Daniel J. Evans Library at The Evergreen State College.

The Evans Library is a dynamic organization with facilities, resources and staff dedicated to excellent services for both the Evergreen campus and the surrounding communities. The library is recognized as such a valuable community resource that nearly a third of its users are non-students.

The Friends organization sponsors events, programs, and services that bring the library, the larger campus, and surrounding communities together. Friends members work in diverse ways to raise and disburse funds to support library services possible for both campus users and the surrounding community.
