Reading Clinic
Wednesday, April 4, 2012
Location: Sem II A1105, 3-5 pm
Presented by faculty member, Nancy Koppelman.  Please bring along a book you are having some difficulties  reading so you can learn some techniques to approach such works.


2012 Pacific Islander Studies Conference
Friday and Saturday, April 6 and 7
Location: Library Lobby, various workshops between 10:30 and 3:30
This first annual conference is designed to provide participants with key concepts of identity development, leadership skills, and health/wellness.  Contact our front office for more information.


Understanding Credit and Credit Reporting

Location:  TBA, on campus, three separate options:
10-noon, writing tutors facilitate a film screening and discussion of Writing Across Culture or The Revolution Starts at Home guest speaker on Healing Within the Community.
1-3 pm, lecture by Joe Kadi on gender followed by a panel on intersections of race, gender and class.
6-8 pm, theater presentation with excerpts from the plays done by The Conciliation Project.

Midquarter Gathering: Screening of Walk Right In

Guest speaker, Larry Paros, will show his film which incorporates interviews with TRiO alums 40 years later.  Find out how the lives of some of the first TRiO students at Yale have unfolded.  Snacks provided.
