Bringing Theory to Practice Leadership Coalition Faculty Survey: Perspectives on Teaching, Professional Reward Structures, and Well-Being

Evergreen is a member of the Leadership Coalition subgroup of the Bringing Theory to Practice Project (BTtoP), which was founded by the Association of American Colleges and Universities in 2002. The Leadership Coalition consists of 53 institutions committed to making their schools models of excellence in liberal arts education and creating a campus culture focused on students' academic well-being and civic development. In spring 2010, Evergreen participated in the BTtoP Leadership Coalition Faculty Survey, which asked about innovative pedagogies, scholarship of teaching and learning, institutional incentive structures, and job satisfaction.

Faculty Survey of Student Engagement

In spring 2005 NSSE's companion survey, the Faculty Survey of Student Engagement (FSSE) was administered to undergraduate faculty at Evergreen. The results of the two surveys provide an opportunity to explore faculty and student perceptions of Evergreen. View the FSSE-NSSE Comparison of lower division faculty members' responses to those of first-year students.
