The End-of-program Review (EPR) was created by Evergreen's Assessment Study Group to improve cross-curricular general education, and to help the college recognize and articulate curricular offerings. In academic year 2001-2002, the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment began surveying faculty at the end of each program. Faculty were asked how they integrated the four divisions of the Liberal Arts and about other emphasizes and practices in their programs.

Summaries of End-of-program Review Results
Academic Year 2001-02 through AY 2005-06

As noted above, the End-of-program review was altered substantially for Academic Year 2006-07. You can review a copy of the survey from Academic Year 2005-06, to review questions associated with the first five years of this assessment.

The following are summaries of trends in Evergreen programs as reflected in the End-of-program Review results from Academic Year 2001-02 through AY 2005-06. The charts show the percentage of programs reporting an emphasis in various areas over time. They also show emphases and trends by Planning Unit.

End-of-program Review Workshop

In addition to the charts above, there are also reflective pieces written by participants in a workshop on the End-of-program Review.

In August 2006, a group of faculty, staff, and students came together to review and summarize the first five years' results from this EPR. Workshop Participants worked in teams to compose summaries (below) of EPR responses (farther below).
