Online Contract Status Key

Status for each stage of your contract development and approval

CREATING:
You have started developing a draft contract.

DRAFT REVIEW:
You "Release Draft," giving your sponsor (sponsor's name must be listed in the sponsor field) and/or advisor access to view and provide feedback on your contract. YOU MUST NOTIFY YOUR SPONSOR AND/OR ADVISOR THAT YOU RELEASED YOUR CONTRACT. To share your contract for review with others, such as a Field Supervisor, you will need to save it as a PDF and email it to them.

If your faculty reviews and provides feedback to your contract online, you will get an email to your evergreen.edu email account.

AWAITING ADVISOR APPROVAL (Undergraduate Intenships Only):
You must print and sign your internship and take it to your Field Supervisor for final signature. Once you have this signature, you will hand carry your contract to the Academic Advising Office to be reviewed and approved by an Academic Advisor. An approval from an Advisor will then put your contract in Awaiting Sponsor Approval status.

AWAITING SPONSOR APPROVAL:
At this point, you should know if your Sponsor is approving your contract online or in person. Check in with your sponsor on how to proceed. If your sponsor approves the contract online, you should receive an email notice.

AWAITING DEANS APPROVAL (Undergraduate Contracts):
Your contract has been approved by your sponsor and is waiting for an Academic Dean's review. The Deans will begin reviewing contracts AFTER registration has opened for that quarter,* and will follow a pre-set schedule for timely reviews. If registration has opened for the quarter and your contract has been approved by your sponsor, and remains in that status more than 5 business days, please contact the Academic Deans Office or call 360-867-6870.

*Fall Quarter contract review will begin mid-summer.

AWAITING DIRECTORS APPROVAL (Graduate Contracts):
For Individual Learning Contracts:
Your contract has been approved by your sponsor and is waiting for the Director (MPA) or Assistant Director (MES) of your program to review it. Directors will begin reviewing contracts AFTER registration has opened for that quarter,* and will follow a pre-set schedule for timely reviews. If registration has opened for the quarter and your contract has been approved by your sponsor, and remains in that status more than 5 business days, please contact the Director of your Graduate Program.

*Fall Quarter contract review will begin mid-summer.

For Internship Learning Contracts:
Take your contract to get your Field Supervisor and Sponsor's signatures. After obtaining both signatures, take this original internship to the Director (MPA) or Assistant Director (MES) of your program to review it. Directors begin reviewing contracts once registration opens for a each quarter, and they have a set schedule for expediting the review. After you hand in your contract to either program, if your contract remains in this status for more than 5 business days, please contact the Director of your Graduate Program.

APPROVED:
Your contract is approved and you will be registered within 2 business days of the approval date. If it is approved, you should receive an email notice.

NOT APPROVED:
Your contract was not approved during the approval process by either an Academic Advisor (internships only) or an Academic Dean. Your contract will not be registered with this status. If it is not approved, you should receive an email notice.
