Training for Researchers

Online training for the protection of human subjects

Any individual involved in the design, conduct, or reporting of human subjects research at Evergreen should complete the online National Institutes of Health training, Protecting Human Research Participants.  This training covers the history of human subjects research protections, codes and regulations governing research, and the principles of the Belmont Report. Visit the web site to register and take the training.  Upon successful completion of the training, please print the certificate and attach it to your HSR application.  A certificate is valid for three years and may be renewed by retaking the course.

Additional online training opportunities are available from the federal Office of Human Research Protections.
