1 pm – Red Square – Rain or Shine

No limit of guests, and no tickets required
The ceremony will last 3 to 3-1/2 hours

Support Your Fellow Greener Grads - Go the Distance — Important!
With all the festivities, and 1000 or more graduates to recognize, commencement will last about 3 hours. Please let your guests know to expect that and plan accordingly. In addition, because the last person recognized deserves the same support, respect and celebration as the first, we ask that you please return to your seat after you've crossed the stage. Your presence is part of the graduation experience for those that follow. Your fellow graduates, and their families and friends, will appreciate your thoughtfulness.

In an effort to reduce waste and support the Think Outside the Bottle campaign, we encourage you to bring your own refillable water bottle or purchase a reusable container at the Greener Bookstore. We will provide water stations surrounding Red Square to refill your containers.

Graduate Programs Hooding Ceremonies

Graduating Students — Important!
If you have not already done so, you must submit a graduation application and $25 application fee by May 15th, 2013 to have your name published in the Graduation Program. This includes students graduating Summer Quarter 2013.

If you do not plan to graduate, please email the Graduation Office so we can take you off this mailing list.

No REHEARSAL!   Instructions for graduates are available at www.evergreen.edu/graduation/instructions.htm   It is important that you review these instructions prior to graduation.  We will also provide a handout when you pick up your REQUIRED Check in Card.

All graduates are REQUIRED to have a “Check in Card” in order to cross the stage to receive their diplomas.

If you need special accommodations for the procession as well as the ceremony, contact Michele Elhardt in Enrollment Services, Library 1245 or email at elhardtm@evergreen.edu by Tuesday, June 4th to discuss your needs.

Check out the Graduation T-Shirts!  Help support Evergreen’s Gateways for Incarcerated Youth Program by purchasing one.  The proceeds from the sale of the t-shirts fund the Class Donation which this year goes to Gateways for Incarcerated Youth.
