Graduate Application Fee Waivers
If you fall into one of the categories below, you can mark the specific application waiver request as you complete the online graduate application. You must provide documentation to Graduate Admissions (firstname.lastname@example.org) proving that you qualify for a waiver in one of the following prior to your application being complete for program review.
The application fee is non-refundable. All fee waiver requests must be approved. If your request is not approved, you will be required to pay the $50.00 non-refundable application fee.
Current AmeriCorps or Earth Corps Members
Have your current supervisor send an email indicating you are currently serving, including your intended term of service and service dates.
AmeriCorps or Earth Corps Alums
Email a copy of your AmeriCorps Service Letter found at my.americorps.gov. Please send a copy for each completed term of service.
International Earth Corps alums must have Earth Corps staff send an email verifying term of service and service dates.
Have your institution's McNair coordinator send an email confirming you are a McNair scholar.
Returned Peace Corps Volunteers
U.S. Military Veterans
Email a copy of your DD Form 214 (Report of Separation) indicating that you were honorably discharged.
These waivers are limited by each program. Please be sure to have completed your FAFSA in a timely manner in order for the Financial Aid Office to document your need prior to application review deadlines.
Previous Graduate Program Admittance
If you have previously been admitted to the same graduate program within the last two years but did not enroll, you can choose the option to waive the application fee for your second application submittal to the program.
