Supporting Campus Life

Evergreen currently has men's and women's teams competing in five varsity sports: basketball, cross country, soccer, track & field and volleyball. There are also various club sports. Give Online

Daniel J. Evans Library
Our library is much more than a collection of books, journals and other media. It is a community center where small groups of students engage in Evergreen's valued tradition of seminar and discussion and members of the broader community can access most of the available resources. We continually seek innovative ways to provide the best resources for our learning community and the community at large. Give Online

Evergreen Galleries
Private support of the Evergreen Galleries helps create remarkable exhibitions, continue the enrichment of the permanet collections and enhance teaching and learning. With over 200 pieces in the collection, art is continually displayed and rotated throughout the campus, including paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, hand woven wall hangings, ceramics, glass works, and ceramic sculptures by both nationally recognized and local artists. Two galleries in the Daniel J. Evans Library exhibit special collections, including works from student, faculty and international artists. Give Online

Forest Canopy Walkway Project
The Forest Canopy Walkway Project is a visionary effort to build a forest canopy walkway, seminar pod and suspension bridge on Evergreen's 1,000 acre wooded campus. This three-part cable supported structure will be unique among institutions of higher education and will enhance Evergreen's reputation as a pioneer in academic innovation. It will also provide extraordinary access to the canopy treetops for students, faculty and staff, and serve as an educational resource for local schools, community groups and eco-tourism. Organic Farm
The cornerstone of Evergreen's sustainable agricultural program, the Organic Farm was a homestead incorporated into the campus in the '70s. Today a little more than one acre is under cultivation, yielding salad greens, tomatoes and flowers as well as eggs laid by some 30 hens that are sold to the college's food service and at a twice-a-week farm stand in front of the library.
