Ralph Bietz
Ralph Bietz, PhD is the President & CEO of BioRev, llc, a technologically advanced food and beverage company. BioRev produces Energy drinks, specialty drinks with Naturopathic properties, sports drinks, electrolyte water, oxygenated spring water, spring water, purified water, coffee, tea, and ready-to-drink specialty coffees as well as whole bean coffee. BioRev’s business geographic includes the western USA, Japan, China, Korea, and e-commerce.
His business experience consists of working for multinational corporations such as The Coca-Cola Company, Seagram’s & Sons Ltd., the Monsanto-NutraSweet Company, Hoechst Pharmaceuticals AG, Novo-Nordisk A/S, and PepsiCo affiliate Pepsi NWB/CBC. Ralph was a Board of Directors member, an Executive Committee member while serving as President & CEO of Pepsi NWB/CBC. He is the creator of the Crystal Cascade Beverage, LLC, which has a 9 state distribution network, and is currently a serving as Board Vice-President, Treasurer, and Executive Committee member for CCB. Ralph conducts business globally and has also worked and lived as an ex-pat in Europe.
His educational background includes PhD and MS degrees in Naturology (Naturopathic Medicine, Chemistry, Biology, Enzyme Chemistry, Botany), an MBA degree from Emory University's Goizueta School of Business, and a BS degree in Chemical Engineering with a specialty in Bioengineering and Biochemical Engineering. His MBA thesis was used in over 22 countries and translated into over 9 languages by The Coca-Cola Company and Monsanto NutraSweet as a business operating system. His PhD dissertation on phytochemicals and antioxidants is currently being adapted for a book. Ralph has guest lectured on his master's thesis, Total Product Management: TPM, in Paris, Manama, Santiago, Shanghai, Buenos Aires, Toronto, and in the United States.
He has been interviewed and quoted by the Wall Street Journal, magazines such as Beverage World, Washington CEO, The Manufacturer, Monsanto Magazine, and regional newspapers.
He and Virginia currently reside in the Steamboat Island area where Ralph is a member of the Board of Directors at Harlequin Productions and has recently completed several terms of duty on The Community Foundation Grant Review Board. They support a number of community causes, and have a family of 6 boys and 3 dogs.
