Our priority deadline is March 15, 2008. It can take 3 to 4 weeks to receive the results from the FAFSA so you should complete it no later than February 15, 2008 in order to meet the priority deadline. File early, please. It's fine to estimate your 2007 income information if you need to. Do not wait until the tax deadline. 2. Apply for admission as soon as possible. Although you should apply for financial aid early, you will not be awarded financial aid until you have been offered admission to the college.
3. Complete and return Evergreen’s 2008-2009 Financial Aid Data Sheet.
4. After your FAFSA is reviewed by the Federal Processor, you may be requested to submit additional FAFSA documentation. Complete and submit them promptly. If you are selected for verification, send required documents by the March 15th priority deadline (you will be notified by the processor on your Student Aid Report). Required documents include: Parent and student 2007 IRS 1040 (if dependent), student and spouse IRS 1040 (if independent) and verification form. If changes are required, awarding will be delayed pending official corrections by the Federal processor. Please respond promptly to any requests made by the financial aid office.
When aid is offered to you, please let us know which awards you wish to accept. Awards of aid must be accepted within 30 days of notification. Awards not accepted within 30 days of notification will be cancelled.
