The Evergreen State College financial aid staff is here to help you meet your educational goals as an undergraduate, and when you are admitted into a Masters program we will continue to support needs related to your education. Graduate Studies ScholarshipsThe Master in Teaching (MIT), Master of Environmental Studies (MES) and Master of Public Administration (MPA) programs each have their own scholarships forms for a variety of awards. The Master of Education (M.Ed.) program has some descriptions of and links to external scholarships on their program website. Information from the MIT program Information from the MES program Information from the MPA program Information about the M.Ed. program The Financial Aid Process for Graduate StudentsThe process of attaining the funds to cover school and living costs is similar for graduate students and undergraduates. One big difference is that as a graduate student, whatever your age, marital status or living situation, you will not need to provide information about your parent(s) and they will not sign your FAFSA, so you will not need a PIN for them even if you did when you were an undergraduate. Follow these steps:
The earlier in the year that you complete these four steps, the better. Evergreen's priority deadline is March 15th. This means that to have your file reviewed in the first awarding cycle, we must receive your complete and valid FAFSA information before March 15th. It does not mean that you will be unable to receive financial aid next year if you do not meet the deadline, but in order to receive the best possible aid, and to know at the earliest possible date (for planning purposes) what your offer will be, make sure that your FAFSA information gets to us by March 15th. Most students who qualify for financial aid, particularly out-of-state residents, find it necessary to borrow funds through the loan programs in order to meet the cost of attending Evergreen.
