Displaced Student Tuition Waiver Program

Displaced Student Tuition Waivers

The Displaced Student Tuition Waiver is a fund offered to international and domestic students attending The Evergreen State College whose educations have been interrupted by military conflict or natural disaster.

• Displaced Student Waivers are contingent on the availability of funds.
• Waivers are renewable up to four academic years.
• Recipients must maintain satisfactory academic progress to continue receiving the waiver.
• Financial need may be considered.

To apply for the Displaced Student Waiver, submit a letter of application to the Enrollment Services Office no later than September 5, 2008. The letter should include a statement addressing your circumstances as they pertain to this waiver. It should also outline your achievements and let us know why you wish to attend Evergreen. To recieve the Displaced Student Waiver,

International Applicants must:

• meet the published admissions criteria including TOEFL scores and admissions application deadline.
• show sufficient sources of funding for all non-tuition related expenses, such as travel, housing, meals, books, insurance, and other living costs.
  

Domestic Applicants must:

• Meet the published admissions criteria and admissions application deadline.
• Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to the federal processor.
