CAB Update for September 9, 2009

Inside:

Demolition continues. Asbestos has been removed from the building, except for the last half of the first floor. The concrete seismic walls continue to be constructed throughout the middle of the building. The sheet metal has arrived on campus for the new mechanical heating and ventilation system.

Outside:

The new outside ADA ramp to Red Square is under construction and beginning to take shape. The trenches and holes have been dug for the new addition. The foundation's forms are being constructed.

Special Note:

The McLane Fire Department has been using the CAB space for training. Some of their skills practice and training have been on how to break through walls, go through tangled wires and repel off the building. They very much appreciate being able to use the CAB for practice space.
