CAB Update for October 14, 2009

Inside:

Asbestos removal is completed. Electrical and mechanical systems are continuing to be installed.

Outside:

The major entryway from Red Square has been demolished. The new entry will be built out and refaced, giving a the CAB a new look. The large amount of noise will diminish now that the smashing of exterior walls is complete; however, some jack hammering may still be heard. The ADA ramp and stairwell from Red Square to the first floor entry are still being formed.

Special Interest:

Major demolition is complete. The project is moving into a new phase. Big changes will still be happening, but in small increments. Large visual changes to the building may be difficult to notice until construction of the new addition begins.
