Programs are the interdisciplinary classes that form the core of Evergreen's curriculum. In Evening and Weekend Studies, a variety of 8 and 12-credit programs are available. Many of them are team-taught. Programs may last one, two or even three quarters, building on themes developed in previous quarters
Courses are more narrowly focused. There are many 2 and 4-credit courses available and occasional 6-credit offerings. Courses are typically taught by one faculty member. Many students take courses to complement the interdisciplinary programs described above or in combination with individual study options.
