Diversity Events and Activities Funded in 2007-08

The President's Diversity Fund provided support for a host of activities that were conceived and produced by teams of Evergreen faculty, staff and students, who partnered with public and private institutions, community and college organizations.

In addition to the activities represented in the chart, the committee provided for the development of a logo to represent the Fund ($1000), purchased materials for the Diversity Lending Library (+/- $1000), and provided for expenses associated with the committee's work (+/-$2000).

Activities marked with an *asterisk were funded entirely by the President's Diversity Fund and the amounts listed here represent the total cost of the activity. All other activities were produced with the benefit of multiple funding sources. The amounts listed here represent the financial support awarded by the President's Diversity Fund, not the total cost of the activities.

 

Current students, staff and faculty of The Evergreen State College are eligible to apply for financial support for qualifying activities.

In 2008-09, proposals will be considered that address the Fund's theme for the year: Reimagining Community.
