Rise Up! Anti-Oppression: Intersections, Relationships, and Allyship

Evergreen alumni Becka Tilson and Dalya Perez will facilitate an integrated exploration of the web of oppression that focuses on undoing racism for white folks. This 3-hour workshop will explore oppression through interactive activities, internal dialogue, imagery, and movement. Based on the work of Dr. Leticia Nieto, their approach utilizes developmental models for personal empowerment and building allyship. This workshop will help participants become their own anti-oppressive coaches, move beyond guilt, and turn awareness into action!
