GenEd Expectations

PROLOGUE TO THE FACULTY

The Gen Ed DTF sends you a new (and we think improved) version of the Expectations. We have made five changes to the document you received with the AC/DC:

• we have changed the voice to address the document to students
  
• we have explained what each expectation will mean for students - in italics
  
• we have added examples of possible learning outcomes (that is, what the student knows and can do) and possible ways to demonstrate those outcomes
  
• we have altered the order of the expectations, numbers 2 and 3 changing places
  
• we have added the epilogue to faculty
