Sustainable Agriculture Lab

Due to student interest in programs at The Organic Farm, a new Sustainable Agriculture Lab Building will be built to provide more learning space for students, staff and faculty.  The Laboratory will be used for Food and Soil sciences and will be open to related programs. 

Already the SAL has been a large collaboration between students, staff and faculty. Evergreen requested funding for the project from the state and was approved in 2008.  Since then students, staff and faculty have worked together to develop a design for the building in three design courses and one community planning course.

Construction on this new lab building is planned for August 1st 2010.
