The Organic Farm Photoland Video
Sustainable Agriculture Lab Building
Student Groups and Activities at The Organic Farm:
- The Biodiesel Project Uses spent vegetable oil from Campus Dining Services to make biodiesel for use on the Organic Farm. The project is run by the Student Green Energy Association (SGEA).
- Community Gardens Is a Student Activities group dedicated to providing gardening space to members of Evergreen and the greater Olympia community.
- Compost Facility Workers of the Organic Farm use a variety of feedstocks to make compost for use on the farm production fields.
- Demeter's Gardens Demeter's Garden is a community-based demonstration site, embodying the principles of permaculture and perennial polyculture systems.
- The Organic Farm There is approximately 1 acre of production space that is dedicated to experience based learning about the principles of sustainable agriculture.
