Friends of the Farm

The Friends of the Farm is a group of students, faculty, administrators and community members who have an interest in deciding the future of the CELL and its activities. The Friends meet from approximately 3-4:30 pm every other Monday at the farmhouse. Sign up on the list serve to get the latest information about CELL meetings. Melissa Barker

The Friends of the Farm act as the conduit for communication between the farm and the larger Evergreen community. Collaboration with the administration, other student and planning groups, and the larger Thurston County community to organize projects, schedule events and to otherwise let you all know what is going on at the Organic Farm. The Friends also determine what kind of student projects and activities are appropriate for the CELL, and we usually assist with the process of project organization, permitting, funding and oversight. Some of the projects are listed in the left-hand menu under the Research and Projects title.

Interested members of the Evergreen and Thurston County community are always welcome to join the Friends of the Farm at their meetings, and we encourage you to bring your ideas, enthusiasm, and suggestion to the CELL meetings. Contact the Facilitator of the CELL to have something added to the agenda for the next CELL meeting or to see what is going to be discussed.
