|
This project was, designed and built by Stephanie Techner and Jillian Simpson (aka: Isis). They began the project in the Spring of 06 and completed the compost toilet in the Summer of 06 for a class project in Ecological Agriculture. It was built on The Evergreen State College Organic Farm in the Community Gardens/Experimental organic field. It has directions and information about the composting toilet and how to use it located in the compost toilet building. For more information come on down to the farm and take a look at how it was built and functions!
"Another reason for composting toilets" "Every time you flush the toilet you are using more water than most people in the developing world have to use all day." - Michelle from Wandering and Rambling
