This course involves travel to the Western Psychological Association (WPA) conference in Riverside, California (April 27-30, 2023) which attracts 3000+ students and professionals of psychology. It showcases the topics and cutting edge research in all areas of psychology. Many events are specifically geared towards helping students network and learn what is needed to succeed in a career in psychology.

Requirements for the course are attending a planning meeting on Monday, April 3, attending 20 hours of presentations (minimum) during the conference, and writing a paper about your conference activities after the conference.

Students who are taking So You Want to Be a Psychologist should not register for this course; conference attendance is part of that program.
