Covers topics in algebra-based physics, including including rotational motion, angular momentum, torque, oscillatory motion, waves, kinetic theory, gas laws, and thermodynamics. Through labs and collaborative group work, students will develop conceptual understanding, problem-solving abilities,  and the ability to communicate physics concepts effectively to others. Students should have good mathematical skills including algebra and trigonometry. 

Taking the Physics I, II, III course sequence provides the equivalent of a standard introductory algebra-based physics sequence.
