Faculty Signature Required: Interested students should draft an Independent Learning Contract or Internship Agreement and make an appointment to meet with the faculty to discuss plans prior to the Academic Fair.

Class Standing: Sophomores or above; transfer students welcome.
Accepts Spring Enrollment: This program accepts new enrollment, with faculty signature.
Students interested in opportunities to develop their own course of study in Japanese history, literature, art, or film may contact the faculty via email. Study abroad opportunities may be possible.
Credits: 12 or 16 per quarter
