Faculty Signature Required: Students wishing to do an Individual Learning Contract with Jorge Gilbert should develop their project proposals using the on line contract process and send them to Jorge Gilbert at gilbertj@evergreen.edu. Jorge will also be available at the Academic Fair, September 22, 2008 to talk with interested students and to discuss contract proposals.
Major areas of study include sociology, international studies, Latin American studies and political economy.
Class Standing: Juniors or seniors; transfer students welcome.
Jorge Gilbert will take individual contracts with students interested in Latin American Studies, International Studies and Political Economy. Students interested in researching or working on some particular countries from Latin America are welcome.
Credits: 8 or 16 per quarter
Enrollment: 25
Internship Possibilities: With faculty approval.
Special Expenses: Will vary depending on student projects.
Program is preparatory for careers and future studies in government, policy, Latin American studies, international relations and business.
