Class Standing: Sophomores or above; transfer students welcome.
Individual Study allows opportunities for students to create their own course of study in the form of an Individual Learning Contract or Internship. Working with the faculty sponsor, individual students or small groups of students design projects or internships and meet regularly with faculty to reflect on their work. Students pursuing individual study or internships in human development, family studies, movement studies, and education are invited to join this program. Stephanie Kozick will sponsor contracts and internships in human development, family studies, movement studies, education, child development, and cultural studies. While this opportunity is oriented towards sophomores - seniors, freshmen may be admitted if they are applying for an internship or are part of a group project.
Credits: 8, 10, 12 or 16 per quarter
Enrollment: 15
Internship Possibilities: Spring only with faculty approval
