Using the Campus Calendar
Overview
You can choose to view all events or to view by specific event type. The calendar can display a day, week, 2-week, month or year time period.
View by Event Type
The Campus Master Calendar displays all events posted to 11 separate calendars. To view the calendar by a specific type of event or activity, choose one of the Event Calendars listed on the Event Calendar Descriptions page, or by selecting from the drop-down menu located on the upper right corner of the calendar and pressing the "Go" button.
An easy way to switch from calendar to calendar is by using the drop-down menu located in the right sidebar of the Event Calendar Description page.
Display a Day, Week, 2-week, Month or Year
By default, the calendar displays the current calendar week. The period of time displayed (day, week, 2-week, month or year) can be changed by selecting the appropriate yellow tab in the upper left corner of the calendar.
Specific dates or time periods, either in the past or in the future, can be displayed by entering the desired date in to the text boxes just above the yellow tabs and pressing the "Go" button.
Event Descriptions
Event descriptions normally contain the start and end time (if applicable) and the event title. Events listed on the Campus Master Calendar will also include the name of the individual calendar the entry is located on.
If more information about an event is available, the event will appear as a link. Clicking on the link will open a small window displaying the additional information.
Calendar Features
The menu bar at the top of the screen provides Search, Options, Print, Help and Login buttons.
The Search feature allows events to be found by entering a keyword and specific time period. The only field searched is the Event Title.
The Options feature allows the viewer to alter the way information is displayed.
The Print feature allows the viewer to print the calendar.
The Help feature is a valuable resource for calendar users.
The Login feature is used by calendar managers.
