My Journey to Med School as a Woman of Color

Presented by Daniela Alarcón, student at the Pittsburgh School of Medicine

Daniela will discuss her journey to medical school, her personal struggles and failures along the way, and how she learned from them to become a stronger candidate and a better future physician. She will discuss the important steps she took to gaining acceptance into medical school, how she used her minority status as a tool to achieve this, and how she determined what school would be best for her.
