Do my parents have access to my account information, especially if they are paying the bills?
In accordance with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA), billing information will only be discussed with or mailed to the student. Students may sign a billing release form at our office which will allow parents to access billing information for tax or other purposes. This release is specific to billing information and does not enable release of academic or financial aid application information.
Effective Winter Quarter 2009, Student Accounts will no longer mail monthly paper invoices.
Instead, electronic statements will be available on the students' self-serve (my.evergreen.edu) around the 10th of each month. Email messages will be sent to the students' preferred email addresses to let them know that the statements are available for viewing. These messages will include a link to the self-serve account page. If you are a parent or are responsible for paying the invoice, you will need to contact your student and recommend that the electronic statement be forwarded to you as a pdf file attachment.
Is there a payment plan available for tuition?
No. Tuition is due in full by the quarterly deadline (the fifth calendar day of each quarter) for pre-registered students, or at the time of registration for students registering on or after the due date. If payment is not made before the deadline, a fifty-dollar ($50.00) late payment fee will be assessed on the account and a one-percent (1%) monthly interest fee will be charged on account balances 30-days past due. Please note that you will not be dropped for non-payment and that it is your responsibility to drop classes online to avoid tuition liabilities.

Meal plans are activated at the beginning of each quarter and end the last day of evaluation week. Dining service hours can vary, especially during holidays, evaluation week and school breaks. There are typically between 70 and 91 days available in a quarter. Fall quarter provides more days of availability because meal plans are activated a week before school starts for Orientation Week.
