This summer Evergreen's popular youth sports camps are back and better than ever! Evergreen's coaching staff and players provide excellent opportunities for fun and learning in basketball, cross country, soccer and volleyball camps throughout the summer.

Register early as space is provided on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The Evergreen State College Basketball Camp 2008

Ages 8-15

Monday - Friday
June 23-27
9 AM - 4 PM, Monday - Thursday. 9 AM - Noon, Friday
Location: CRC Gym
Fee: $185

Sign up now for The Evergreen State College Basketball Camp. Campers will be instructed on the fundamentals of basketball, play 5 on 5 and compete in shooting contests. The Evergreen State College Basketball Skills Camp 2008

Ages 12-18

Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 1 PM
August 4 - 7
Location: CRC Gym
Fee: $100

This week will focus on individual improvement. Players will learn advanced offensive moves and defensive techniques. They will also learn a how to play team offense (basic motion) and defense. The Evergreen State College Soccer Camp 2008

Monday-Friday
Ages 6-16
Full Day 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. except Friday 9 a.m. - Noon
Location: CRC Soccer Fields
Fee: $185

The Evergreen Soccer Camp is an exciting week of soccer for both boys and girls ages seven to sixteen.

Campers will be instructed in the fundamentals of soccer. Individual skills including passing, receiving, dribbling, shooting and individual defending will be taught by Evergreen's current coaches and players. Players will participate in a variety of small-sided games daily. Players will also use the college's swimming pool several times during the week.

All campers will receive a T-Shirt and a ball. Lunch will be provided for all campers. Check in will begin at 9am on Monday, camp will end at noon on Friday. For more information call 360.867.6521 or 360.867.6519

Evergreen Volleyball Camp 2008

Monday-Friday
Ages 8-15
Full Day 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. except Friday 9 a.m. - Noon

The Evergreen Volleyball Camp is an exciting week for both boys and girls ages eight to eighteen.

Individual skills including serving, passing, setting, hitting, defense, and blocking will be taught by Evergreen's current coaches and players.

All campers will receive a T-Shirt and ball. Lunch will be provided for full day campers. Check in will begin at 8:30am on Monday and camp will end at noon on Friday.

Monica Heuer's Youth Basketball Skills Camp 2008

Ages 8-15
Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 4 PM

Location - CRC Gym
Fee: $185

The camp is for boys and girls ages 8 through 15. Learn fundamentals, offensive and defensive skills; play full court, and enjoy workouts in the pool; all campers receive a T-shirt and ball. Ballin' at a Higher Level

Monday-Thursday
Ages 13-16

Full Day 9 AM - 4 PM
Location: CRC Gym

We will focus on offensive moves to the basket, defensive strategy and footwork. Campers will learn the importance of the mental game, weight training, conditioning and find out what college coaches are looking for when recruiting players. We will compete in 5 on 5 games, full court drills and push you to a higher level! All campers will receive a T-shirt. Lunch provided.     Evergreen Summer Cross Country Camp

    July 7-11
    Girls and Boys grades 7-12
    Monday - Thursday. 9 AM - 4 PM
    Friday. 9 AM - 1 PM
    Location - The Evergreen State College Campus
    Fee: $185 per person.

  • Registration Deadline: Monday July 7th.


    • The Evergreen Cross Country Camp will focus on training, race preparation, goal setting, team building and more. Top area coaches and specialized guest speakers will guide and educate you in daily activities. You will have the opportunity to run on the forested trails of The Evergreen State College campus as well as Capital State Forest. Campers will be divided into ability groups when needed and they will be accompanied by elite and college level athletes. There will be opportunities to swim and play games as well. The last day of camp will include a 5k cross country race. Lunch will be included and you will receive a performance fabric running shirt and "goody bag" for your participation.
    Instructors: Craig Dickson, Evergreen Women's and Men's Cross Country Coach. Staff includes: Members of The Evergreen State College Cross Country Team and special guest coaches and speakers.
