All-League player signs with Women's Soccer Team
February 18, 2008
Olympia, WA - Michelle Robinson from Shelton High School will play for the Geoducks in 2008. Robinson signed her Letter of Intent last week as announced by head coach John Purtteman.
Michelle was nominated to 2007 Western Cascade All League First Team for Shelton High School for her play as an outside midfielder. Additionally, Robinson was acknowleged by King 5 news, making the High School Gametime A-Team for her athletic and classroom accomplishments. Robinson carries a 3.7 grade point average.
Robinson is an all-around athlete. She bowls for the Shelton High Schools team, who made it to the State Championships. A game in the 200's is not a problem for the strong-armed Robinson, who also plays on Shelton's Fastpitch Team.
Purtteman is looking forward to having Michelle on the team.
"Michelle is a versatile player. She can play in the midfield as a forward and has tremendous pace and a great sense of the game".
