September 2, 2007 OLYMPIA, WA. – Evergreen State won by 2 goals in the 3-1 victory over NCAA Division III opponent Pacific Lutheran University today. Hannah Ettengoff (Fr Vancouver, WA) scored two unassisted points for the green and white in the 23rd and 48th minutes. Emily Anderson (So Philomath, OR) put the win out of reach for the Lutes in the 77th minute with a high shot from 20 yards out. For the Lutes, Christina McDuffie scored early in the second period following a corner kick by teammate Meredith Newby who was credited with the assist. PLU stands at 0-2-0 for the season. Evergreen has a long break before their next collegiate game at Eastern Oregon on September 14th. Former Geoducks will lace up their boots for the Alumni game on September 8th 3 PM game at Evergreen. |
