OLYMPIA, Wash. - Women's soccer added four strong recruits to the '07 roster in the past week. Head coach John Purtteman is excited about the talented prospects.

The women's team will benefit from the additions of Monica Ragan (Boise High School. Boise, ID), Katie Cagle (JR Huntington Beach, CA / Point Loma Nazarene University), Hannah Ettengoff (Evergreen High School. Vancouver, WA) and Miriam Hall (Ephrata High School) .

Ragan is one of the best dual sport athletes in the state of Idaho, competing in both soccer and track and field (hurdles). She will bring speed and a fearless game to the front line.

A transfer from Point Loma Nazarene University, Cagle was a freshman starter at Point Loma Katie was selected as the Region II first team goalkeeper, and was an Honorable Mention NAIA All American.

Ettengoff is a proven striker who scores big goals in key situations. A solid ball handler, she'll make opposing teams defense work hard to keep her out of shooting range.

Joining the team as a keeper, Hall knows how to organize her defense and has the athletic ability to pull off the spectacular save.
