NAIA post-season honorees announced - three Geoducks among them

Olathe, KS - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced its selections for the 2006 NAIA Women's Soccer All-American teams, as selected by the NAIA Women's Soccer All-American Selection Committee. Midfielder Hishamar Falconer of Lindsey Wilson College (Ky.) earned the Brine-NAIA Player of the Year honor while the Brine-NAIA Coach of the Year will be announced January 12, 2006, in conjunction with the NSCAA Convention in Indiana.
Evergreen keeper and team captain Carly Stewart was recognized for the category of Goalkeeper Honorable Mention. Stewart played all season as the only keeper for Evergreen, recorded 96 saves during the season and helped lead Evergreen to the NAIA Region I Playoffs.
NAIA Region I honors went to three Evergreen players. Carly Stewart was named to the All-Region First Team. Sophomore Jenine Adam was named to the All-Region Second Team as a midfielder and senior Alice Dietz named to the Second Team for forwards.
