Dietz earns Cascade Conference and Region I Player of the Week! |

October 25, 2006 OLYMPIA, Wash. - Women's Soccer Team member Alice Dietz was selected as both the Cascade Conference and NAIA Region I Women's Soccer Player of the Week after her nomination and confirmation by the conference voting committee. Dietz's selection follows an excellent week of soccer for the senior from Longview, WA. In last Wednesday's game against Northwest University she scored 3 goals and led her team to a first round Cascade Conference Tournament berth. She again helped the team advance to the second round of the tournament after Evergreen beat Albertson College of Idaho 2-1 on Saturday. In the 2006 season, Dietz has scored 10 goals, making her the fifth leading scorer in the conference. She also has 6 assists which puts her sixth in that category. Evergreen plays Eastern Oregon in the second round of the CCC tourney today in La Grande, OR.
