OLYMPIA, Wash. -- Senior forward Alisha White was named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Player of the Week, and NAIA Region I Player of the Week for her four goal, four assist effort against Cascade College this past weekend.

White is Evergreen's leading scorer for the year with six goals and four assists in four games.

Evergreen is off to it's best start in years as the Geoducks are undefeated in four games including a 3-1 win over NCAA Division II Central Washington University and a 2-0 win over local rival Pacific Lutheran University.

The Geoducks have outscored their opponents 22-1 on the season and junior goalkeeper Carly Stewart and the Evergreen defense have shut out three of four opponents.

The Geoducks return to action this weekend as they host conference rivals Albertson College on Friday and Eastern Oregon University on Saturday. Albertson has also started the season quickly winning five of their first six games after winning only once last season. Eastern Oregon took Evergreen to overtime in both of the team's two meetings last season.
