OLYMPIA, Wash. -- Evergreen opened its Cascade Collegiate Conference season with a bang as the Geoducks defeated Cascade College 15-0.

Alisha White scored her third goal of the season less than two minutes into the match to set the tone of the day. White had four goals and four assists in the game. Sophomore midfielder Kate Green added four goals and two assists. Freshman defender Marissa Major tallied twice and Elizabeth Lieberknecht, Kaylen Kelley, Maeve Dempsey, Alice Fox-Dietz and April MacKay all scored one goal.

The 15-goal day is the most on record in a game for the women's soccer team.

Evergreen recorded 30 shots and nine corner kicks on the afternoon. Cascade was held without a shot or corner kick giving Evergreen goalkeeper Carly Stewart her third shutout in four games.

With the win Evergreen remains undefeated with four wins. Cascade drops to 0-4. Evergreen returns to conference action next weekend as the Geoducks host a red-hot Albertson College on Friday, September 16th and Eastern Oregon University on Saturday, September 17th . Both games kick off at 1:00 p.m.
