White and Stewart named to All-Region team |

| Contact: Erik Snyder (360) 867-6537 December 7, 2005 OLYMPIA, Wash –Senior Alisha White and junior Carly Stewart were named to the NAIA Region I All-Region team for their performances in the 2005 season. The award is a repeat for White who also received All-America honors for the second year in a row. White was named to the All-Region first team as the forward led the Geoducks in scoring for the second consecutive season. White paced Evergreen with 12 goals on the year to lead the Cascade Collegiate Conference in goals per game (0.86) and also tallied four assists to lead the conference in points per game (2.00). Stewart was picked for the All-Region second team behind Simon Fraser's Michele Gademans, who was named the top goalkeeper in the country. Stewart gave up only 11 goals on the season for a 0.64 goals against average. The junior led the conference in shutouts with seven, and save percentage at .875 White and Stewart played pivotal roles in guiding Evergreen to its best season in the 25 year history of the program. The Geoducks went 10-2-5 on the season with their only losses coming at the hands of ninth-ranked Concordia University. Evergreen advanced to the Cascade Collegiate Conference Tournament championship game, where Concordia avenged an early-season loss to the Geoducks with a 1-0 victory.
