Caldwell, ID- The cold weather found its next victim. Yesterday, it was the men's soccer team, today it was the women as Evergreen downed Albertson 3-2 at Symms Field.

All three Evergreen goals game in the second half. A.J. Fairburn (Tacoma, Wa/Stadium H.S.) netted two for the Geoducks. The Coyotes (7-8, 9-10) led in the first half 1-0 thanks to a Katie Rupert goal off a corner kick, but could not get the offense going in the second. Chelsea Stevens added the final score for the 'Yotes late in the second half to bring Albertson to within one, but Evergreen's defense played strong to prevent the tying goal from entering.

Evergreen had 11 offsides calls, as opposed to Albertson's five. 29 fouls were also called, 13 for Evergreen and 16 for Albertson.

The team will complete its final conference game on the road in La Grande, Ore. Saturday's game against Eastern Oregon is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m.
