OLYMPIA, Wash. - Evergreen lost 60-49 in a non-league game to NCAA Division III Pacific Lutheran University.  Following a close first half after which Evergreen trailed by just four and outshot PLU in field goal percentage, the Geoducks fell apart in the final minutes of the game.

PLU's Kyle Haag scored 23 points, 4 rebounds and made 4 from the 3-point zone. Haag graduated from nearby Black Hills HS. Trinity Gibbons scored 15 points and 4 rebounds for the Lutes.

While most on the team were off their mark, Molly Clark (Sr. Boise, ID) made 3 of 5 three point attempts and led Evergreen in scoring with 13.

Evergreen was down by just 2 points with 3:30 to go but slipped behind following a string of turnovers and a point run by the Lutes.

The Geoducks made just 19 percent of their field goal attempts in the second half while PLU improved to 40 percent.

Evergreen falls to 2-7 overall while PLU improves to 4-1. The Geoducks play next Friday when NCAA Division II Western Oregon visits Olympia in a 5:30 PM game.
