OLYMPIA, Wash. - In the first Cascade Conference game of the season for Evergreen, the Geoducks defeated Corban College 70-65 in overtime tonight at the Green House.

Evergreen hopes to keep that momentum into tomorrow nights game with Concordia (OR) University. 

Jennifer Solberg (Jr, Franklin Pierce HS) led the Geoducks with her double-double performance of 22 points and 17 rebounds. Solberg's rebound total puts her at #5 on the Geoduck All-Time list in the per game category.

Three other Evergreen team members scored in the double digits including Rosalind Lee's (Jr, Oakland, CA) 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Corban College was led by Emily Goette with 21 points and 6 rebounds.  Jessica Steigleman added 20 points.

Both Evergreen and Corban stand at 2-4 in the season. 

Tomorrow night's home game with Concordia begins at 5:30 PM.
