53-50 Win for Evergreen in first Cascade Conference game

December 1, 2006

PORTLAND, OR- Women win close game with Cascade College. Jennifer Solberg and Melissa Evans were the high scorers for Evergreen with 19 and 17 points respectively.

Coach Monica Heuer was pleased with the teams first win on the road and winning their first conference game of the season but added, "It was close at the end. We weren't making our one on one's in the final minutes".

Evergreen plays again in Portland tomorrow in another Cascade Conference game at Warner Pacific College in a double header with the men's team.
