Offensive woes for the women's team |

November 18, 2006 LEWISTON, Idaho - This afternoon against Westminster Colllege, Evergreen went without a field goal for nearly the first 13 minutes of the game in their 43-58 loss in their second game of the Staples Classic Basketball Tournament. Westminster led 19-1 before Evergreen's Jennifer Solberg connected on a 3-point with 7:04 left in the first half. It was the only 3-point shot made by a Geoduck in the game. Elisa Leader had 20 points to lead Westminster players. Jenny Olson paced Evergreen with 14 points. Melissa Evans and Jennifer Solberg scored 9 points each. Evergreen State went 0-2 in the tournament and stands at 1-3 overall this season. Westminster finished 1-1 in the tournament and is 4-3 overall. Women's basketball waits a week before playing again. They'll be at home on November 25th hosting Linfield College at 5:30 PM. |
