OLYMPIA, Wash. - The Evergreen State College staged a furious second-half rally but fell a point short to the visiting Pacific University Boxers, 58-57, in non-conference women's basketball on Sunday afternoon.

The Geoducks trailed 31-20 at the half, but found their shooting range in the second half, shooting 50 percent from the field, including 4 of 6 three-pointers.  Evergreen also cashed in 9 of 10 foul shots, but at the buzzer still found themselves a point short.

Jennifer Solberg led Evergreen (5-22 overall) with 15 points while Molly Clark scored 12 and Danielle Keenan contributed 11 points and 12 rebounds.

Pacific's Kami Shigematsu led the game in scoring with 22 while Trisha Terhar added 16 for the Boxers (7-15) in a game that was rescheduled from December because that month's powerful windstorms knocked out power at Evergreen.
