Free throws the deciding factor in Evergreen's loss

Hayward, CA - The Evergreen State College went 0-2 on their road trip to Northern California after a 72-83 loss to Cal-State East Bay Sunday and a 34-60 defeat the previous night.

Evergreen State out shot East Bay in field goals for the game making 27-61 in comparison to 19-55. But the Geoducks were no match at the free throw line, Cal-State putting down 38 of their 47 attempts, while Evergreen only able to take advantage of 17 of their 23 chances.

Two Geoducks recorded double-doubles Sunday night. Junior, Jenny Olson, knocking down 17 points and 10 rebounds for the game, while sophomore, Danielle Keenan, had 14 points and 13 rebounds. Senior, Rachel Ross, came out with high score for Evergreen with 18 points and was able to grab 9 rebounds as well, almost making three double-doubles for E-State.

The Evergreen State College Geoducks will take on Cascade College on December 2, 2005 in Olympia, for their first conference game of the season.
