Geoducks Get Their Win!

OLYMPIA, Wash. - After a shaky opening game for the Geoducks, the team was able to find their groove to win the match 3-1 (13-25,25-22,25-21,25-23) in the Greenhouse over Northwest Christian University.  Evergreen (1-8) has their first Cascade Conference win (1-1) and their first win of the season.

Tomorrow they host another conference rival when they meet Corban College at home at 7:00 PM

 Cassie Bishop and Emily Miller each contributed 11 kills for the Beacons. Whitney Hoff and Taylor Hatleberg did double duty on set assists with 12 and 10 respectively.

 For Evergreen, Kaylani Evans led in kills with 10. Jazzmin Garcia tallied 8 and LeAsia Jones had 7. Jones had a season high 3 solo blocks and assisted on 3 others. Setter Meghan De La Rosa was in on the scoring action as well with 5 kills and 31 set assists.
