Last Two Games Rough for Geoducks as They Fall 3-1 vs Warner Pac
Olympia, WA - Visiting Warner Pacific (7-14 Overall, 5-14 CCC) convincingly pulled ahead in the last two sets to win the match 3-1 over Evergreen (1-23 Overall, 1-18 CCC) tonight at the Greenhouse.
After two close opening sets, the Geoducks were unable to keep their consistency going as they lose their 15 game in a row.
Tomorrow Evergreen will play Cascade College in their final game of the season. The Geoducks won their last matchup with the Cascade Thunderbirds, their only win of the season thus far.
Jessica Dubois (Tumwater, WA) and Kandice Gleaves (Olympia, WA) were the top two scorers for Evergreen with 12 and 9 kills respectively. Katie Huston (Newcastle, WA) had 31 assists.
For the Knights, Kara Veach had 13 kills and 5 service aces. Megan Marineau had 10 kills and setter Samantha Kolakowski had 33 assists.
Game time for Evergreen vs. Cascade is at 7:00 PM tomorrow.
